About
Annie Campbell, Controller
Massachusetts accountant doing big-company-careful work for small businesses.
Annie's story
Annie started out doing audits at CBIZ — the kind of work that teaches you to take a balance sheet seriously.
Then she went in-house at Forrester Research (Nasdaq: FORR), closing the books each month at a public company. After that, she ran finance as the Controller at Strategic Spaces, a private company.
Now she does that same careful work for smaller businesses — the ones that have outgrown a part-time bookkeeper but aren't ready to hire a full-time finance person.
She started Annie's Accounting because small businesses deserve the same care she used to give public-company books. Same care, sized down. No jargon. No fluff.

How she works
Counts money when it's earned.
Not just when it lands in the bank. That's how banks and auditors expect it.
One person to call.
You get Annie. Not a junior, not a different person every month.
Plain English.
You'll get a real answer, not a memo full of accounting words.
Smart use of software.
She uses the tools that help. Not piles of them for their own sake.

Chief Morale Officer
Darwin is Annie's dog and the unofficial mascot of Annie's Accounting. He keeps things grounded between accounts, has a soft spot for clients who bring treats, and is the reason the Woods Hole office is a pleasant place to be.
